Response to the first a day on the green in Armidale has been fantastic with almost 3000 tickets sold in the first four days!
The Classic Oz Rock event at Petersons Winery, Armidale on Saturday March 10 2012 features an incredible line-up with Noiseworks, Ian Moss, Ross Wilson, Richard Clapton, Dragon and Choirboys, with tickets just $89.
a day on the green promoter Michael Newton said: "We're incredibly pleased with the first few days sales and also from the response and support we've received across the whole region. It's a fantastic line-up for our first event and it's great to see so many people keen to come along to enjoy the a day on the green experience.
"The ticket sales so far indicate a lot of people are coming from out of town which is great for local businesses in Armidale. We certainly hope to make this an annual event."
To ensure a totally relaxing day many of our patrons prefer to travel to the event by coach and leave the car at home. Edwards Coaches are providing transport from surrounding towns to Petersons Winery and have now finalised the timetable and pickup points as follows:

ARMIDALE

EVENT INFORMATION:
a day on the green is a fully licensed event. Strictly no BYO alcohol. Food will be available on site or BYO picnic. Deck chairs and picnic rugs are recommended. For all event information, go to adayonthegreen.com.au.
