Live Nation Global Touring announced today that Sting & Paul Simon, two of music’s most renowned and enduring artists, will bring their critically-acclaimed On Stage Together tour to Australia and New Zealand in January and February 2015.

The tour includes a very special an evening on the green outdoor show at Sir James Mitchell Park (Coode Street end), South Perth on Saturday February 21. Promoters are pleased to announce this stunning riverside venue will be used for some an evening on the green concerts this summer.  

Special guest is the wonderful Sarah Blasko.

Tickets are on sale Monday July 7 at 10.00am.  Free public transport (bus, train and ferry) is available to all ticket holders.

As long-time friends, the concept for the “On Stage Together” tour originated at the Robin Hood Foundation benefit in 2013 where they performed together for the first time. Both artists, who are known for exploring world rhythms, have pushed the boundaries of popular music and continue to speak to generations of fans.

As exemplified on their North American tour earlier this year, the concerts in Australia and New Zealand will feature two of music’s most iconic singer/songwriters blending their voices and their bands while performing their best-known songs both together and apart.

Tickets for Paul Simon & Sting: On Stage Together will go on sale to the general public beginning Monday July 7 at 10am. The artists’ fans will have access to a pre-sale through each artist’s official website starting Tuesday July 1 at 10am through Thursday July 3 at 3pm (all times local).

The a day and evening on the green events began in WA in February 2003, and since then, 61 concerts have been staged presenting the biggest music stars in the world.  Today’s announcement is the first of another bumper season planned for the upcoming summer at both Kings Park & Botanic Garden and Sir James Mitchell Park.

an evening on the green is a fully licensed event. Minors (children under 18 years of age) may only attend the event if they are accompanied by their parent/step-parent or legal guardian.  All patrons (including minors/babies) must have a valid ticket for entry.
