Media Release - INXS tour kicks off January 25!

With Train, Baby Animals and Sean Kelly

INXS kick off their first Australian tour in four years exclusively for a day on the green next week with rehearsals well under way.

The band with special guest JD Fortune will play their only Australian shows at wineries nationally commencing on Tuesday January 25 (Australia Day eve) at Robert Oatley Vineyards, Mudgee NSW.

US Grammy-Award winners Train, the reformed Baby Animals and ARIA Hall of Fame inductee Sean Kelly (from Models) complete this stellar a day on the green line-up.

The concerts will be a unique celebration of INXS music, reflecting the recently-released 'Original Sin' album where guest vocalists join the band to rework classic INXS songs into new incarnations.

Whilst JD Fortune will front INXS for the tour, fans are hoping for a very special musical moment with Train lead singer Pat Monahan expected to take the stage with the band to recreate his stunning version of 'Beautiful Girl' from the 'Original Sin' album. The band are also working on some surprise new arrangements of favourite INXS tracks.

With an enviable reputation as one of the world's great live bands, JD Fortune back in the fold and the inspiration of performing with new singers on 'Original Sin', INXS can't wait to get back on stage. If rehearsals are anything to go by, they are in red hot form!

The INXS tour continues the celebrations for a day on the green's 10th birthday season. For full event, transport and ticket information, click here.
