Final preparations are now underway for the ninth a day on the green at All Saints Estate, Rutherglen on Saturday March 17.
About 5000 music fans will enjoy the classic hits of Noiseworks, Ian Moss, Daryl Braithwaite, Ross Wilson and Choirboys. Acclaimed for their songs, musical expertise and brilliant live performances, it will be first-class quality music across the whole day in a great value-for-money concert.
Organisers are calling for everyone attending to join in the spirit of the day and dress in their very best Aussie-themed gear. All the top contestants will be shown on the video screens during the afternoon, with the winner receiving a fantastic Aussie food hamper, a backstage tour and two Concert & Dining tickets to any a day on the green concert of their choice next summer. So enter into the fun, and get into your Aussie-themed attire for the day.
And to make sure the good vibes continue all day, there's no-one quite like a day on the green's resident DJ and party master Grand Master Baitz. The Grand Master will be resplendent in his usual funky multi-outfit changes and in keeping with the day's theme, will spin only home-grown music between the acts.
There have been two incredible Oz Rock shows performed so far in the Clare Valley SA and the Hunter Valley NSW. The tour moves to Armidale NSW this weekend before hitting Rutherglen on March 17. This is an amazing, good fun show not to be missed!
