And The Chandelier Is Coming!

Elton John and his band are set to return to Australia from 5 December as part of his international All The Hits Tour.

The shows, including a day on the green at Mt Duneed Estate Geelong on Saturday December 12, which were announced and on sale last month, have been met with a huge response from fans across the country.

a day on the green is pleased to announce Australia’s multi award-winning pop band SHEPPARD will be the special guests at Mt Duneed Estate, in their only appearance of the tour.

Pianist and composer Tate Sheridan will open the evening for all shows on the national tour.

Sheppard breakthrough international hit single, Geronimo, was the most played song on Australian radio and the highest selling Australian single of last year. Also an international smash, Geronimo recently impacted American Top 40 radio, making Sheppard the third Australian group to impact Top 40 in the 21st century alongside 5 Seconds of Summer and Jet. The single has since achieved Platinum accreditation in the USA (1,000,000 sales), and garnered radio play in 50 countries - reaching the Top 10 on the singles chart in over 12 countries.  Their current international tour includes many global festival appearances, such as Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits in the US, England’s Isle of Wight, Japan’s Summer Sonic and Brazil’s Rock In Rio.

At only 21 years old, Tate Sheridan has developed a fine reputation in the Australian jazz and pop community. Tate has been showcasing his original work at jazz festivals across the country and has been awarded with the Merimbula JazzQuest Scholarship as well as the ANU Imad Nassir Medal for Most Outstanding Piano Performance.  Tate has demonstrated a unique style that seems to captivate all who hear him.

The All The Hits tour will feature iconic hits and classic album tracks from throughout his incredible five-decade career, including a selection of songs from his highly acclaimed album, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, which recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with a Deluxe Edition.

Tickets are still available for the concert, however promoters are expecting a sell-out, so buy soon or miss out at your peril!
