JACKSON BROWNE has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2007. Except for a brief period in NYC in the late 1960s, Jackson has always lived in Southern California. His debut album came out on David Geffen’s Asylum Records in 1972. Since then, he has released fourteen studio albums, four collections of live performances, two “best of” compilations, two DVDs and several single recordings. Jackson’s newest studio album, Downhill From Everywhere was released in July 2021 and GRAMMY nominated for Best Americana Album.

JACKSON BROWNE is known for his advocacy on behalf of the environment, human rights, and arts education. He’s a co-founder of the groups Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE) and Nukefree.org and a member of the Ocean advocacy group, Ocean Elders.

2022 marked 30 years since folk-rockers THE WAIFS formed in Albany, WA. Since then, they have toured the world, winning multiple ARIA Awards and scoring platinum albums along the way. A unique chemistry and profound depth of songwriting talent has bound the 3 original members – Donna Simpson, Vikki Thorn and Josh Cunningham. Their abundant choruses, intoxicating instrumentals, lush and joyful harmonies, enchanting live shows and affable natures have won them many loyal fans and in 2017 they celebrated their number 1 ARIA album, Ironbark. THE WAIFS’ potent, classic singalong hits, including London Still, Lighthouse and Bridal Train, burst with nostalgia and memories that they’ve collected through 3 decades on the road together.

Dynamic duo VIKA & LINDA have traversed rock, country, gospel, reggae, R&B, soul and blues, as well as paying tribute to their rich Tongan heritage. They scored their first number one album in 2020 with their anthology ‘Akilotoa. Three months later, their gospel collection, Sunday (The Gospel According To Iso), debuted at number two. And in 2021, they released The Wait, their first album of original material in 19 years. VIKA & LINDA have released eight studio albums plus three classic albums with The Black Sorrows. VIKA & LINDA have been nominated for six ARIA Awards, and in 2022 they were awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for their service to the performing arts. They have performed for the Dalai Lama, Nelson Mandela and the King of Tonga.

LIZ STRINGER is one of Australia’s most admired songwriters. A respected guitarist and vocalist, her powerful live performances and melodically rich, story-based songs have earned her a unique place among the most important Australian artists of the modern era. Her sixth studio album, 2021’s First Time Really Feeling, debuted at number 14 on the ARIA charts and won an AIR Award for Best Blues and Roots Album. LIZ STRINGER was named Port Fairy Folk Festival’s 2023 Artist of the Year, following 18 months touring with Midnight Oil as backing vocalist and occasional instrumentalist and opening shows for the Oils across Australia, New Zealand, UK, Europe and North America. This year sees Liz embark on her most ambitious recording project yet as she heads to London to record her new album.

JACKSON BROWNE – with special guests THE WAIFS, VIKA & LINDA and LIZ STRINGER – is not to be missed.
