The Blackeyed Susans' music is lush, dark and romantic. Their most recent album, Shangri-La, earned them their second Aria nomination and had Rolling Stone Magazine declaring them national treasures. Their op-shop stylings, from girl groups to klezmer, are beautifully twisted into something uniquely their own. It's more roll than rock, a sad sweet music full of drama and humanity.

This year sees the release of the bands long awaited career retrospective box set, charting their seventeen years together and featuring the best of their six albums to date as well as rare and unreleased material and video clips.

For their Spiegeltent performance the band has fashioned a unique show that spans their entire back catalogue, serving both the long time true believers out there, as well as those seeking an introduction to the band.

The Blackeyed Susans were last in Sydney as guests of The Triffids, performing at the acclaimed "Secret In The Shape Of A Song" shows for the Sydney Festival. They were in devastating form. We look forward to their return.
